A Noel Carol Originale | Shirt, Socks, and Jeans
This growing merch line of t-shirts, socks, and puzzles commemorates Noel's cross-Canada busking tour of 1998. If you became part of a small captive audience, gave him a ride, or put him up for a night or two, you were an instrumental piece to his puzzle of chasin' dreams.
In 1998, Noel hadn't written a song in about a year. He needed a change of scene. So he packed his bags and headed to places he'd never been, traveling light—shirt, socks, and jeans.
He left town with Dawson City on his mind, singing his songs for a place to stay, taking one day at a time. His friends back home didn't understand, but Noel knew that taking the back roads was a big part of the plan. Times were tough, facing lots of mountains, but he kept climbing, never losing sight of the dream.
The song "Shirt, Socks, and Jeans" hasn't been officially recorded as of yet, but it will be soon.
