Noel Carol - After all these years, he's still a rocker and a roller. We want to acknowledge the photographers who contributed to this design - Sammy Sungh and Jelena.

For a little more context … in 1998 Jelena chose Noel as her muse for a school project that encompassed the goings-on in the downtown core of the city. She happened to capture Noel rolling a cigarette while scoping out his new locale. Noel, at the time, was a homeless street busker, having sung his songs on hundreds of street corners across Canada. He'd just landed in BC from a cross-country busking tour that took him from Ottawa, all the way up to Dawson City, Yukon, gradually making it to the central interior of BC.
