And here's the most inspiring part of the story. Noel has since published his memoir. 30 chapters of song-writing stories that date as far back as 1964. Although he hasn't written a song titled "Cafe Leon", he references it several times throughout his book. It gets a very special mention in Chapter Twenty-eight of Left Unread | The Stories Behind the Songs of Noel Carol, where he wrote one of his favorite songs while sitting on the outside patio, titled "I'll Love You Enough". His book is now available in three forms: an e-Book, Paperback, and Hard Cover.
